يستعد المنتخب الأردني للقاء نظيره الأردني في مباراة ودية تجمع بينهما يوم الخميس المقبل 12 نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني الحالي في دولة الإمارات العربية . فيما سيخوض المنتخب العراقي مباراته الودية الثانية في السابع عشر من ذات الشهر أمام منتخب أوزبكستان.
وذلك تحضيراً للتصفيات الأسيوية المزدوجة المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2022 في قطر ونهائيات كأس آسيا في الصين 2023.
وكان الاتحاد الأردني لكرة القدم قد أعلن عن موعد المباراة في وقت سابق، وذكر أن منتخب النشامى سيلعب أيضا بمواجهة سوريا وديا في السادس عشر من نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني في مدينة دبي بدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
ومن المقرر أن تبدأ مباراة العراق والاردن القادمة الساعة الثانية عصراً بتوقيت عمان، والثالثة بتوقيت العراق، والرابعة بتوقيت الإمارات. وسيتم عرض اللقاء على قناة الأردن الرسمية والعراقية، وأبو ظبي الرياضية .
سيستمر المعسكر التدريبي الحالي حتى السابع عشر من نوفمبر، ثم يعود كل من لاعبي المنتخب الأردني والعراقي إلى بلادهم للانضمام إلى فريقهم ومتابعة المنافسة في البطولات المحلية من جديد.
ويعد هذا التجمع الأول للمنتخب الأردني منذ المباراة الأخيرة له ضد تاييه (5-0) التي جرت في شهر نوفمبر 2019 لحساب التصفيات المشتركة المؤهلة إلى كأس آسيا ومونديال قطر.
يذكر أن المنتخب العراقي يتصدر مجموعته الثالثة بالتصفيات الأسيوية المزدوجة برصيد 11 نقطة في المجموعة وتضم هذه المجموعة منتخبات إيران والبحرين وهونغ كونغ وكمبوديا.
